WinRAR is a powerful and well-known file archiver first released in 1993 that is able to create RAR archives.

That application has complete support for ZIP and RAR archives and for advanced NTFS files system options, it is also able to unpack for example 7z, ISO, JAR, TAR and GZ archives. Nomination for the Epsilon Award 2008 and being the winner of the award at the annual European Software Conference are really good advertisements for that both useful and almost legendary application.
